Our Story    |    Who Benefits    |    Our Staff Inside Mom's Breastaurant    |    FAQ
Our Staff:
At this time Mom's Breastaurant is staffed entirely by volunteers, from our owner right down to the helpers handing out flyers at the events where a Mom's Breastaurant booth is set up. We hope to make Mom's Breastaurant self-sustaining, and maybe even profitable enough to offer a small stipend to our volunteers.

Mom's Breastaurant is run by Nonie Veccia. Nonie lives in the California Bay Area with her husband Mark, their daughter, Sayer-Bug, their son, Duncan-Punkin, and their furball, Maille-cat. Nonie has a BA in Literature from the University of Arizona, and a background in Marketing Communications.
A follower of Attachment Parenting practices, Nonie had both children in natural, unmedicated births, breastfeeds, baby-wears, co-sleeps, cloth diapers, and is delaying the selected vaccinations her children will receive. She is an avid supporter of breastfeeding, natural childbirth, the use of doulas to support laboring mothers, and |
of allowing a child's natural curiosity to drive the learning process.
When Nonie is not busy enjoying her children she looks for local events at which Mom's Breastaurant can set up their booth or spends time maintaining her AP mommies website. Her hobbies, which are too numerous to count, include gardening, cooking, reading, and crafting - not that she has too much time for hobbies while homeschooling two kiddos and running two businesses!

Some of her favorite things include reading silly novels, chatting with her online mom friends at EarthyMommies.com, and taking her girls on walking adventures around town in their double stroller
